An Orientation Program was organized for first-year students newly enrolled in the Departments of Health Management and Nursing at Erbaa Faculty of Health Sciences as part of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
The program was attended by the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Fatih POLAT; Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergin TEMEL; Head of the Department of Nursing, Assist. Prof. Dr. Gülçin DEMİRDİL; first-year student advisors; and academic staff. During the program, students were provided with information aimed at facilitating their adaptation to university life and the faculty.
As part of the program, students received general information about Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, the Erbaa Campus, and our Faculty. Information was also provided on the educational processes, as well as the academic and administrative structure and procedures of the Departments of Health Management and Nursing. In addition, students were informed about academic procedures they should be familiar with throughout their university education, their rights and responsibilities, course and examination processes, academic advising services, and various opportunities offered by the University.
The orientation program also included an introduction to Erbaa, where students will continue their education, with general information provided about the district’s social, cultural, and everyday living opportunities.
The program helped students adapt more easily to university life, both academically and socially, while also providing an opportunity to strengthen communication between students and academic staff. At the conclusion of the program, students were wished success in the new academic year.
